Carson & Barnes Circus comes to Geneva!

Anna and everybody loved the circus! Anna was a little scared at first, but then she was glued to every act! Her favorite was the ladies in the ladies in the rainbow dresses. Someday you'll see a video of Anna singing in Grandma's car afterward - she was quite the entertainment!

Happy Father's Day!

We spent the beautiful, perfect day down at the lake to celebrate! Anna had a blast with her Grandma, cousins, and Dad out in the water and in the sand!

Also, happy 6th anniversary to us! We got to spend a romantic night together at Geneva-on-the-Lake! We stayed in Uncle Bob's "Little House" for the first time (since Mike and Tanya stayed there with their parents as kids), played mini golf and arcade games (I beat Mike playing Simpson's Pinball and he beat me playing everything else!), and we ended the night with ice cream from Eddy's Grill where Mike and Tanya had their first jobs. Grandma J watched Anna for the night, and they had lots of fun together too :)

Cozy with Lambert

(Energy Anna is almost never found resting on her own in such a relaxed state...as soon as she saw me, she was up-an-at-em in a snap, but I got this one quick shot)

Play group playing telephone with bananas

Funny Anna quote after she left the table: "I don't want to go to the monkey party anymore!"

Anna built a "catamaran"!

We were so proud of our little carpenter!
We'll be back next month!...if not at the hospital!

Elizabeth is officially a high schooler!

Well, I suppose the "officially" is that she is not an 8th grader anymore... Anyway, we are all happy for her, and she is happy too! Unlike lots of girls in her class, she was tear-free! Congratulations Elizabeth! We love you, Beautiful!

(...and I'm looking every bit of my 8 months pregnant!)

Ok, so it is 90 out and the first photo looks like she's lounging at the beach, then as you can see, Anna found her winter hats and mittens!
Isn't she just such a doll-baby!?

Mommy and Anna - Zoo Buddies

We got to touch sting rays! They feel smooth, like dolphins on the bottom. I touched the top before they announced to "be sure to only touch the bottom" - thank goodness nothing bad happened! Anna tried, but I don't think there was any actual contact - maybe next time!

She made a friend...

We particularly like the name of these guys (well Anna decided that one we saw was a girl and the other was a boy). They're called clipspringers. Very cute, they're petite, though you can't tell from this photo how small they are.

Fun with Aunt Terese at the beach

Check out the boy in the blue shirt - he has so much sand in his shirt that he looks as pregnant as me!

That pretty orange flower is a poppy flower -it's where opium comes from too.

Visiting the Hills in Cincinnati!

We had a wonderful weekend swimming, playing in the park, eating Mexican chicken, playing guitar on Wii, getting Oprah's favorite ice cream, paddle-boating, and ending the fun with a huge breakfast at IHOP! Thanks Dan, Sonal, Evan, and Mira for such a fun time. Oh, a cute thing that happened: Evan said "Mike, since you came all the way to Mason to visit, I want you to put me to bed" :) That sure made Mike feel good :) On a funny note, 2 really: Anna had 2 accidents on Saturday (her tally for the last 20 days or so was 3 accidents, including those 2. Also on Saturday, Anna took about an hour to eat her dinner, determined to "go for ice cream" afterward, and sadly, 2 minutes into the 3-minute drive to the ice cream shop, she zonked out. All that work and no ice cream :( We forgot our camera! Talk about feeling like I was missing a major body part! These photos were from Mike's new phone - works pretty well, huh? It's the device that will keep you guys up-to-date with my labor in a few weeks! Oh, also in Cincinnati, I had contractions for the second time! Nutmeg is on his/her way!
