Harlan Abigail Laux

Baby Harlan Abigail is just gorgeous! What a sweetheart! ...didn't bring the camera to the hospital, so now we can finally show her off :) Carla is always naming her babies "Baby Harlan" when they aren't "Baby Lyla". The other day we saw a cute, fancy, little dress, and Anna, knowing it was too small for her, suggested we buy it for Carla, when I said it was too small, she said then for Lyla, and when it was too small for her ... you guessed it, she wanted us to get it for Harlan! Harlan is beautiful, and so happy, and though she was a little peanut when she was born, she is growing like a weed! We love you Baby Harlan!

Waking the Slug!
Anna and Carla were watching a slug or worm or something like that on the driveway. Then Carla stepped on it, and probably killed it. Anna got upset. I said maybe it was just scared and fell asleep, SO they tried to wake it! Check out Carla's impressive squat! Also, see how Anna and Carla's boots each match their tops -- not planned, but cute :) Carla is really taking claim to yellow being her favorite, and "her color".
Sweet Dreams Little Man
It is unusual for our little guy to fall asleep like this. When they were babies, Anna and Carla did this often. Not Benjamin, I always take him up to his own bed for his trips to dreamland...except today :) PS- he does sleep in his car seat sometimes if we are out and about :)

Anna's Autumn Answer
If you ask Anna anything about what she likes during fall, her answer is almost always: "Jumping in Leaves!!!" As you will see, she and Carla had a ball with leaf piles this fall! Antway, who doesn't?!

Welcome home Dad!
This is one of many Grossner "potty parties" where Anna and Carla have "simul-potties" (as in simultaneous). Ben joined in to hear a nice story :)
Apple picking!
Anna's first field trip was to Eddy's Fruit Farm to learn all about apples and we picked some yummy ones and sang some songs. Miss Kate even joined us! Kate is going to nanny school and she will be spending Fridays with us all fall! She is a super help and the girls adore her! There is also a pic of our new friends Kim and Amy -- I run with Kim and her daughter Amy is in school with Anna :)

Erin and Anthony's Wedding Day!
What a fabulous celebration for a darling couple! Congrats Erin and Anthony! PS- Anna adored being your flower girl!
Quick collage, then a slide show!, and last -- Carla showing off her moves! When she saw this clip, she said "Can I go back to there again, pwitty pweeeeese!?" Doesn't she look comfy? After we peeled these "Woody Jammies" off of her before the ceremony, she wore her lovely dress all day, and then someone changed her back into her jammies before she hit the dance floor! She's a spunky little thing!

Erin and Anthony's Wedding Rehearsal -- "No twirls!"
We had fun at Erin and Anthony's wedding rehearsal and dinner at Quince! And Ben got to meet Aunt Denise! Check out the nice picture of my mom and all five of her sisters :)
Anna had the chance to practice walking down the aisle and boy did she! Check it out! Everyone held their breath that she would NOT twirl for the wedding. Phew! (She didn't.)
