Fundraising for an awesome cause: Girls on the Run!
Hello everybody!
On Nov 23rd, I'm running a half marathon (Cleveland Fall Classic) to raise money for Girls on the Run! Any donation will mean so much to helping girls be all they can be! THANK YOU! Click HERE to donate! and on for more info!
1. Girls on the Run is an awesome organization that provides fitness and life skills programs to young girls.
Girls on the Run encourages and empowers girls to to be joyful, healthy, and confident using fun and motivating exercise-based education and activities which creatively integrates running and culminates in a celebratory 5k (3.1 miles) run/walk. Check out this video of the program!
2. Currently, I am a Girls on the Run coach at my daughter's school (St Paschal Baylon).
We are halfway through the first season ever of Girls on the Run at our school, meeting twice a week for 10-weeks learning about life and preparing for the celebratory 5k walk/run on Nov 16th.
3. Girls on the Run is offered to every girl, regardless of their financial means to participate!
