Laura's Wedding!

What a fun day!? It was a beautiful day! I spent lots of time with Daddy and Mommy and I (and of course Laura!) were wearing pretty dresses! It was my first wedding and my first reception...we were all boogie-ing (how would you spell that?) down!

...actually this is still mostly after...we didn't take pictures of the car right after the accident when wires were hanging lose and we thought the bumper might just fall right off.

Also, I got in my first car accident :( ...but I didn't cry. I went to my first wedding rehearsal dinner for Mommy's friend, Laura's, wedding. I fell asleep in the restaurant. Virginia Beach is a pretty place.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Dad's birthday by driving to New Jersey and then Delaware for the first time! We had a yummy Mexican dinner (Mom said it was the best ever!) and the servers sang to Daddy and put ice cream on his nose! I slept well spending my first night ever at a hotel :)

I slept for 9 1/2 hours last night!!!
...Dad and I are happy, and you should see how excited Mom is!

I met Mommy's students today and got to meet Jazzy.
She takes care of me in her dorm room while Mom teaches.

Tongue time!

Mommy and Daddy are really excited to see me as a little person! I am
eating cereal in my high chair and sleeping well (sometimes!). I
roll over every time I am set down and sits up really well. I
loves my exer-saucer and peekaboo! I make lots of sounds and smile
every time anyone looks at me! I chew on everything in sight and love
to touch faces. I also swing at everything I can get near too, so watch out! I loves to stand... on Mommy and Daddy's laps, the changing table, the
ground, you name it! I love my They Might Be Giants CD - it always
makes me stop crying (Mom and Dad are happy to have that tool!). I am almost 19 pounds (my mom and little brother weighed that at 12 months),
around 26 inches long, and my hair is so long that I can wear a ponytail
(sort of)! We've been back to Cleveland a few times, and went on
vacation to Cape Cod, and I even came with Mom and the soccer girls on
a hike up Buck Mountain in Lake George!

I thought I found my tongue a while ago, sticking it just out of my mouth, but today, I realized that it is very long and a can stick it out really far and in many directions! I gave my tongue a hard workout today! My chin is rather tasty!

Meeting Max

I got to meet a cute little Newfoundland puppy! He was nice and I wasn't toooooooo scared. Next time I see him though, he is going to be really big! Mommy and I will both have to be brave!

A busy, busy day in Cleveland

Let's see. First Gramma gave me a bath in the sink. I had fun splashing around! Then I met "Aunt" Sara and "Uncle" Dan's dog, Max, who wasn't much bigger than me, but next time I see him, he will be almost as big as Mom! Then Gramma and Pas took me to Aunt Ali and Uncle Bob's 50th wedding anniversary party while Mom and Dad ran in the Metroparks with Sara and Dan. Then Grandpa Nardi came to visit. Mrs. Hagan came too, and I was giggling up a storm in her lap. I was also playing on Uncle Nicholas' stomach. The next morning, Gramma was playing with me too with her fun marionette doll and Grandma J gave me another bath in her sink...maybe we'll do that when we get home too!
