Well, I suppose the "officially" is that she is not an 8th grader anymore... Anyway, we are all happy for her, and she is happy too! Unlike lots of girls in her class, she was tear-free! Congratulations Elizabeth! We love you, Beautiful!

We got to touch sting rays! They feel smooth, like dolphins on the bottom. I touched the top before they announced to "be sure to only touch the bottom" - thank goodness nothing bad happened! Anna tried, but I don't think there was any actual contact - maybe next time!

She made a friend...

We particularly like the name of these guys (well Anna decided that one we saw was a girl and the other was a boy). They're called clipspringers. Very cute, they're petite, though you can't tell from this photo how small they are.

Visiting the Hills in Cincinnati!

We had a wonderful weekend swimming, playing in the park, eating Mexican chicken, playing guitar on Wii, getting Oprah's favorite ice cream, paddle-boating, and ending the fun with a huge breakfast at IHOP! Thanks Dan, Sonal, Evan, and Mira for such a fun time. Oh, a cute thing that happened: Evan said "Mike, since you came all the way to Mason to visit, I want you to put me to bed" :) That sure made Mike feel good :) On a funny note, 2 really: Anna had 2 accidents on Saturday (her tally for the last 20 days or so was 3 accidents, including those 2. Also on Saturday, Anna took about an hour to eat her dinner, determined to "go for ice cream" afterward, and sadly, 2 minutes into the 3-minute drive to the ice cream shop, she zonked out. All that work and no ice cream :( We forgot our camera! Talk about feeling like I was missing a major body part! These photos were from Mike's new phone - works pretty well, huh? It's the device that will keep you guys up-to-date with my labor in a few weeks! Oh, also in Cincinnati, I had contractions for the second time! Nutmeg is on his/her way!

Meeting Clifford!

Today in art class at the Children's Museum...Anna met Clifford! I would say it was love at first sight! She has been reading her Clifford books a lot, so this was especially exciting. She made Clifford ears and wore them for the entire museum visit!

We also planted our tomato plant with Daddy tonight - very exciting! Dad did most of the work, but we girls enjoyed watching. Anna got to take a take a turn helping occasionally and even got to stand inside the hole! Photos coming soon!

We milked a cow!

Today we went to hear the baby's heartbeat and everything looks (and sounds) great! Then we met Maddie and Mischelle at Lake Farmpark and the girls (and I) got to milk a cow! We also petted lots of "amimals" and took a wagon ride pulled by big 2 large brown beautiful horses. It was a great day and I'll just to add a potty tid-bit (since I have pottying constantly on the brain). Anna asked during dinner for Marvin K. Mooney (a Dr Seuss book) which we've figured out is code for the need to go poop, since that is one of the books we always read when she is doing her business, and sure enough she did! She is doing so well :) We went to the zoo on Monday, so I'll get some pictures of all of our adventures up here soon. Oh, and please take a look below at the mid-April pictures, and a few before the "new video" too (I added some tonight after Daddy Compu-Doc fixed our computer - I was unable to upload for a few days).

Gym and Swim and fun in the sun!

Anna, Maddie, and Matthew had fun in at Gym and Swim as always. Anna is swimming around with a belt and I don't even hold on to her! I was so scared at first, but now I don't even worry about her - she's quite the little fishie! Then the three of them, I think had even more fun running around outside enjoying the grass, dandilions, and of course each other's company.

A beautiful day at the zoo!

Fun with Maddie, Alana, Aubrey, and our new friends Claire and Emily! The uniform for the day was the color aqua! The girls had a ball together visiting all the animals and having a lovely picnic lunch together on this perfect day.

Potty Time!

Anna is wearing panties, staying dry, and pooping daily on the potty! We are all thrilled (I'll only have one set of diapers in July - yeah!) and so proud of her :) Today she even went poo-poo for Grandma! She is a big fan of chocolate, taking after Daddy.

No accidents today!

We ended this beautiful day watching Daddy win his soccer game! Anna was excited to go potty in the "little house" (when you're young even Port-o-Potties are fun!).

We spent time with Gramma shopping and enjoying a nice dinner. At Dillards, Anna was trying on lots of shoes, and ended up stomping around in her favorite, some sparkly purple shoes. Before we left, we stopped to check the price, (maybe if they were a bargain they would be fun for dress-up) only to find that they were $300 !!! Needless to say, we left the sparkly shoes behind!

I just can't keep up with the whole do the blog daily thing, but here is the second half of October's video complete with Anna in Care Bear, bumble bee, and lady bug costumes! April photos and November video soon to come!
